Astronomical Data Sources
Accurate astrology begins with accurate astronomy. We use professional-grade ephemeris data to determine exact planetary positions:
Swiss Ephemeris
The Swiss Ephemeris is the gold standard for astrological calculations, providing planetary positions accurate to less than 1 arc second for thousands of years.
Real-Time Calculations
We calculate planetary positions for each specific day, accounting for planetary motion, retrogrades, and sign ingresses.
Celestial Bodies We Track
Transit & Aspect Analysis
We analyze how current planetary positions (transits) form geometric relationships (aspects) with each other and with zodiac sign positions:
Conjunctions (0°)
When planets occupy the same degree, their energies merge and intensify.
Trines (120°)
Harmonious aspects that facilitate easy energy flow and opportunity.
Squares (90°)
Challenging aspects that create tension and prompt growth through effort.
Oppositions (180°)
Polarizing aspects that highlight balance, relationships, and awareness of others.
We use standard orbs (degrees of allowance): 8° for Sun and Moon aspects, 6° for other planets, tighter orbs for precision when aspects are exact.
Sign-Specific Interpretation
Daily horoscopes are based on solar house systems, where your Sun sign becomes your first house. This allows us to calculate how transits affect different life areas for each sign:
Example: Mercury Transit Analysis
When Mercury transits through Gemini, different signs experience this differently:
- Gemini: Mercury in 1st house - enhanced communication, self-expression
- Taurus: Mercury in 2nd house - focus on finances, values, possessions
- Aries: Mercury in 3rd house - busy communications, short trips, learning
This is why each sign receives different predictions for the same day—the same planetary configuration affects different areas of life depending on your Sun sign.
